Moser Holding, the publisher of the Tiroler Tageszeitung newspaper, has appointed Matthias Krapf and Andreas Eisendle as its new managing directors following its takeover by Vorarlberg-based Russmedia and the departure of chief executive Silvia Lieb, ORF reported.

Lieb is leaving Moser Holding after 28 years, most recently as its chief executive. On Tuesday, she was appointed to the new leadership team of designated ORF Director General Clemens Pig, where she will oversee finances at Austria’s largest media company.

Krapf and Eisendle have both worked for the Tyrolean media group in various roles for 20 years.

Krapf has been editor-in-chief of the Tiroler Tageszeitung newsroom since 2023. He is also responsible for the group’s digitalisation efforts as head of digital and became the newspaper’s publishing managing director at the beginning of 2026.

Eisendle has been a board member of RegionalMedien Austria AG since January 2025. As head of the Magazine and Radio business division, he also built up the magazine division and is responsible for the performance of the Life Radio station and the Bundesländerinnen magazine.
