Three injured in head-on crash in Tyrol

Three people, including a mother and her two-year-old son, were injured in a head-on collision between two cars on Reuttener Straße near Ehenbichl in the Reutte district on Tuesday, ORF reported.

The crash happened at about 12.30pm between a car driven by a 53-year-old Austrian woman and a vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Hungarian man. The 31-year-old mother and her son were also in the Austrian woman’s car.

All three occupants of that car suffered injuries of undetermined severity and were taken to Reutte Hospital. The cause of the collision was not immediately known.

Reutte fire brigade crews attended with four vehicles and 15 personnel. Emergency services sent two vehicles and an emergency paramedic, while the Reutte district road authority deployed three vehicles. Police attended with three patrols.
