Woman seriously injured in Edelschrott motorcycle crash

A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured and a 32-year-old man suffered minor injuries when their motorcycle crashed near Edelschrott in Styria on Saturday, ORF reported.

The pair were travelling towards Edelschrott on the B70 when they fell between Pichling and Edelschrott at about 2.30 p.m. Emergency services from the Red Cross, the Edelschrott and Köflach fire brigades, and police responded.

The woman was flown in stable condition by the Christophorus 12 emergency helicopter to the Centre for Acute Medicine at Graz University Hospital. The cause of the crash was not yet known.
