Hana Dellemann will become commercial managing director and chair of the management board of Burgenland Holding on October 1, 2026, ORF reported Friday.
Dellemann will lead the largest corporate group in Burgenland together with managing director Gerald Goger. State Governor Hans Peter Doskozil of the Social Democratic Party said her expertise would help maintain the holding company’s role in the region’s economy, quality of life and public services.
Dellemann was most recently chief executive and country manager of Hitachi Rail Austria. Before that, she was deputy director general and sole managing director of the Austrian branches of Raaberbahn AG. She previously held managing director positions at subsidiaries of Österreichische Post AG and senior roles at ÖBB and Rail Cargo.
As a member of the supervisory boards of Burgenland Holding and Verkehrsbetriebe Burgenland, Dellemann is familiar with the group’s operations, according to the announcement. She will resign from her supervisory board position when she takes up her new role.
Doskozil said Dellemann had experience in both restructuring and managing sustainable growth.
