Police seal parts of Salzburg city centre after war relic found

Police cordoned off large parts of Salzburg city centre overnight after a suspected war relic was found near the Salzach, ORF reported. The operation affected areas around Hanuschplatz, the Marko-Feingold footbridge and the Müllner footbridge.

Police initially gave no further details about the discovery. The cordons were lifted in the early morning.
