Police suspect violent crime after body found in Langenzersdorf

ORF reported that a deceased person was found in Langenzersdorf in the Korneuburg district on Thursday morning. Police were alerted at about 6.30 a.m. and suspect a violent crime.

The Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation, and a suspect has been arrested, police spokesperson Stefan Loidl said.

The circumstances of the death remain entirely unclear, and authorities have not released the person’s identity. Police have not confirmed media reports that the incident involved a dispute between neighbours.
