Four people were arrested after allegedly breaking into an apartment in Klagenfurt, threatening its occupants and stealing cash, ORF reported. The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The suspects, a 44-year-old man, two 30-year-old men and a 29-year-old woman, are all from Klagenfurt. Police said they allegedly kicked in the door of an apartment in a multi-unit building, where a 32-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were inside. The intruders threatened the residents, sprayed pepper spray in the apartment and stole a small amount of cash. Both occupants sustained injuries of unspecified severity.

Police said the incident was preceded by a dispute in drug circles. Officers stopped and arrested the four as they were leaving the building. They were taken to the police detention centre in Klagenfurt, then released after questioning. The four were reported to the Klagenfurt public prosecutor’s office while at liberty.
