Deutsche Bank Research has lowered its price target for Salzburg-based crane specialist Palfinger from 41 euros to 39 euros after the company’s nine-month results, ORF reported. Analyst Lars Vom-Cleff maintained the bank’s Buy recommendation.

Palfinger reported a group loss of 61.5 million euros for the first nine months of 2026. A write-down of Russian assets and other valuation effects linked to the planned sale of its Tail and Passenger Lift business weighed on the result.

Deutsche Bank analysts said the roughly 135 million euro impairment in Russia was a non-cash item and had no effect on earnings before interest and taxes. They also noted that Palfinger had expanded its efficiency programme to offset inflation and keep costs stable while growing its business.

Deutsche Bank Research forecasts earnings per share of 0.35 euros in 2026, 1.67 euros in 2027 and 2.88 euros in 2028. Palfinger shares closed at 27.80 euros on the Vienna Stock Exchange on Thursday.
