Car crashes into house wall in Dellach

A driver was slightly injured after a car crashed into a house wall in Dellach on Lake Millstatt on Sunday evening, ORF reported, citing the Millstatt volunteer fire brigade.

For reasons not yet known, the driver left the road, struck a roadside delineator post and snow pole, then collided with a parked camper van before hitting the wall. The car came to a stop there.

Passers-by helped the driver out of the vehicle, according to the fire brigade. The Millstatt and Matzelsdorf volunteer fire brigades secured the scene and dealt with leaking fluids. A towing service removed the car.

Traffic was controlled alternately on the road for about an hour while emergency crews worked.
