Car and tractor crash injures three in Styria

Three people were injured, some seriously, when a car and a tractor collided on the B78 road in the Murtal district on Saturday, ORF Steiermark reported. The car driver was trapped in the vehicle after it crossed into the oncoming lane on a bend, according to the Judenburg District Fire Brigade Association.

Firefighters from Weißkirchen and Baierdorf freed the driver. The tractor lost its left front wheel in the crash.

Both vehicles leaked fluids, which firefighters contained, and crews established fire protection. A total of 34 firefighters in seven vehicles responded, along with police and the Red Cross, including a rescue helicopter.
