84-year-old drives through underground garage wall in Linz

An 84-year-old man from Linz drove his car through a wall in an underground garage in the Linz-Urfahr district on Thursday morning, ORF reported. No one was injured, but the car and garage sustained significant damage.

The driver lost control while inside the garage. Instead of turning left towards the exit, he continued straight ahead and broke through a wall. The car’s hood protruded into the room beyond it.

Firefighters had to remove the wreck from the narrow garage. Oil and petrol had leaked from the vehicle.
