Police seize car after 19-year-old drives 224 km/h on A1

A 19-year-old from Salzburg was stopped after driving at 224 km/h on the A1 West Autobahn on Tuesday evening, ORF reported.

A patrol from the Seewalchen motorway police stopped the driver in the municipal area of Schörfling am Attersee, in Upper Austria’s Vöcklabruck district.

The driver, who is from Salzburg’s Flachgau region and holds a probationary licence, had his car provisionally seized on the order of the district authority, police said.
