Girlfriend told police boyfriend drove before seat swap

A woman told police that her boyfriend had been driving before she persuaded him to switch seats, after officers traced a car seen driving erratically near Lembach, ORF reported.
The 24-year-old man from the Mühlviertel denied driving the car. Police found him later on Sunday at his home in the district of Rohrbach, after identifying him as the vehicle’s registered owner. Officers had spotted the car travelling on the L584 towards Lembach.
His 18-year-old girlfriend told officers that he had initially been driving and that she persuaded him to change places with her during the journey. A breath test later recorded 2.78 per mille. Police filed a report and provisionally took away his driving licence.
