Esterhazy has announced star performers and orchestras for its 2027 Herbstgold and Keys To Heaven festivals at Esterhazy Palace in Eisenstadt, ORF reports.

The four-day Keys To Heaven piano festival will take place in late April, with performances in bars, restaurants and the palace. Internet-famous pianist Hayato Sumino, known as Cateen on YouTube, will play at the opening.

Artistic director Maria Radutu said the festival brings together different musical styles and artists through shared emotion. She will perform with the Musicbanda Franui and live artist Martin Tardy, who creates drawings in response to the music.

The Herbstgold classical music festival returns to the Haydnsaal in September. Its programme will include Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, performed with the Arnold Schoenberg Choir and soloists, said festival director Julian Rachlin.

The Janoska Ensemble will also return. Actor Philipp Hochmair will recite from Goethe’s The Sorrows of Young Werther, while brass ensemble Federspiel will perform a best-of programme.

Orchestras scheduled to perform include the Budapest Festival Orchestra with Ivan Fischer, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra Berlin and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
