Teenager rides moped at officer during attempted traffic stop

A 15-year-old rode his moped at a police officer and swung at him while trying to flee a traffic stop in Oberwart on Thursday evening, ORF reported.

The teenager was riding without a number plate and tried to evade the check at about 7.45pm. He was briefly detained and, after questioning, reported on suspicion of resisting state authority and causing grievous bodily harm.
