Vorarlberg police seek owner of recovered motorcycle gear

Vorarlberg’s state criminal police are trying to identify the owner of motorcycle gear recovered during an investigation linked to stolen bicycles, ORF reported.

The equipment includes a helmet, trousers, boots and gloves. Police said several items seized during the investigation have not yet been linked to a reported theft. Anyone who recognises the gear or has information can contact the Vorarlberg State Criminal Police Office on 059/133803333.

German police found a large quantity of suspected stolen goods during a vehicle check in Weißensberg, near the border, on October 12. The haul included construction machinery, power tools and seven bicycles stolen from Dornbirn the previous night.

The bicycles have been returned to their owners. The construction machinery was linked to a theft in Germany. The two suspects are to be reported to the Feldkirch public prosecutor’s office and remain at liberty.
