Man dies in Rosenheim apartment fire
A 52-year-old man died after a fire broke out in his apartment in Rosenheim late Friday, BR reported. Police said he was alone in the fourth-floor apartment when the fire started.
Firefighters rescued the man with severe injuries, but resuscitation efforts at the scene were unsuccessful. They prevented the fire from spreading to other apartments.
About 35 residents left the apartment building while emergency crews worked. Paramedics assisted them, and a crisis intervention team was also called.
Police have not yet released the man’s identity or details about the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. Criminal police fire investigators are investigating.
