Amaudruz to address bid for Swiss Federal Council seat

Geneva lawmaker Céline Amaudruz will hold a news conference at 10 a.m. to say whether she will seek to succeed Guy Parmelin on the Swiss Federal Council, SRF reports.

Amaudruz is vice-president of the Swiss People’s Party (SVP) and is considered to have a strong chance of joining the government. SRF is carrying the news conference live in a ticker and stream.
