The 92nd Innsbruck Autumn Fair drew 36,800 visitors over five days, its highest attendance since the end of the pandemic. Organisers also said exhibitors were pleased with visitors’ willingness to buy, ORF reported.

<pNearly 340 companies took part, about half of them from Tyrol. They showcased products, new releases and services spanning home furnishings, household goods, energy, wellness, fashion, food, sport and safety. The programme also included fashion shows and live concerts.

An independent visitor survey found that half of attendees made a purchase at the fair, while 80 per cent planned to place orders afterwards. One in five visitors was attending for the first time. Home furnishings, construction, household goods and fashion attracted particular interest.

Visitors could also explore interactive displays by the police, the Red Cross and the armed forces, and take part in activities run by sports clubs. The regional food section, called “Treffpunkt Genuss”, also drew large crowds.

Concerts at the ORF Radio Tirol Music Lounge were well attended, with hundreds of fans coming each day to see performers including JOSH., the Weather Girls, Smokie, Lemo, Johnny Logan, the Nockis, Marc Pircher and Lena Schaur.

Hansjörg Stern, interim managing director of Congress Messe Innsbruck, said the fair had proved to be an important boost for Tyrol’s economy and a fixture in the region’s events calendar.
