Car hits and injures nine-year-old boy in Hall

A nine-year-old boy was injured after a car hit him while he was crossing the Tiroler Straße in Hall, in the Innsbruck-Land district, ORF reports.

Cars were stopped at a red light on the B 171 near Unterer Stadtplatz when the boy walked between them to cross the road. A 61-year-old driver struck him. She told police she had not seen him before the collision.

Two witnesses gave the boy first aid. An ambulance took him to a clinic in Innsbruck.
