Firefighters extinguish garden shed blaze in Pamhagen

About 55 firefighters responded to a shed fire in the garden of a home in Pamhagen, in the Neusiedl am See district, overnight into Thursday, ORF reported. No one was injured.

Fire crews from Pamhagen, Wallern and Frauenkirchen quickly put out the flames and prevented them from spreading to a neighbouring garage. Its rooftop solar panels were disconnected as a precaution.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a thermal imaging camera to locate and extinguish the last embers. The operation ended after about an hour, according to the fire brigade.
