Driver strikes pedestrian while searching for parking in Perg

A 61-year-old woman was injured after a car hit her in Perg on Friday, ORF Upper Austria reported. Police said the 48-year-old driver may have failed to see her while looking for a parking space outside a shop.
The woman was thrown to the ground in the collision and injured in her lower back, police told ORF Upper Austria. She was taken to Linz Accident Hospital after receiving first aid.
The extent of her injuries was not immediately known. Police are investigating how the crash happened.
