Voting opens to choose Upper Austria’s finalist for scenic-spot show

Voting opened on Friday to choose which of Upper Austria’s three candidates will compete in the ORF show “9 Places, 9 Treasures.” ORF reported that viewers can vote by phone or text message until October 6.
The candidates are Hutterer Böden in Hinterstoder, Wolfsschlucht in Bad Kreuzen and Pöstlingberg in Linz. To vote, call or text 0901 05 909 16 for Hutterer Böden, 0901 05 909 17 for Wolfsschlucht or 0901 05 909 18 for Pöstlingberg.
Each call or text costs 50 cents. Voting is open around the clock, and a maximum of 100 calls and text messages per day is allowed from each phone number. The numbers can be reached from anywhere in Austria.
The chosen candidate will represent Upper Austria in the national show on October 26 at 8.15pm on ORF 2, alongside one finalist from each of the other eight states. Upper Austria has previously won with Schiederweiher. Last year’s title went to Lower Austria for the Mariazell Railway.
