Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision with car in Graz

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car at an intersection in Graz-Geidorf on Thursday, ORF reported.

A 64-year-old man from Graz was driving along Elisabethstraße and turning left into Hartenaugasse. At the same time, the motorcyclist, a Syrian woman who lives in Graz, was travelling on Elisabethstraße and intended to cross the intersection straight ahead.

The vehicles collided for reasons that remain unclear. The woman fell and was taken to Graz LKH hospital by the Red Cross after receiving initial treatment. The driver was uninjured.
