Fire breaks out on 26th-floor balcony at Triiiple tower

A fire broke out on a 26th-floor balcony at one of the three Triiiple towers, a high-rise in Vienna’s Landstraße district, early Tuesday, ORF reported. No one was injured.

Fire crews were alerted at about 6:45 a.m. and immediately declared a level-two alarm because the fire was in a high-rise. A total of 65 firefighters responded. Flames were visible on the balcony when crews arrived.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze within an hour using a hose line. The cause is not yet known.
