Banks move to auction more Orasch properties

At least two properties linked to Lilihill founder Franz Peter Orasch face forced auctions as three companies in his business group enter insolvency, ORF reported. Banks that granted loans secured by liens are seeking repayment.

A single-family home on Peraustraße in Villach is listed for a forced auction at Villach District Court on October 21, according to the public auction database. The property is owned by Peraustraße 45 Immobilien GmbH, which belongs to Orasch. Raiffeisenbank Bad Radkersburg applied for the auction and holds a lien worth 2.8 million euros.

The Salzamt in Klagenfurt, which Orasch planned to convert into a luxury hotel, is also facing an auction. The lien is held by Raiffeisenbank Oberösterreich. The City of Klagenfurt has joined the bank’s application, saying Orasch owes it tens of thousands of euros in charges.

The family’s private home in the Völkermarkt district could also be auctioned, according to the online platform Mediapartizan. Anadi Bank is seeking repayment of about 724,000 euros, the report said.

Three companies from the Orasch group have entered insolvency: Lilihill Financial Service GmbH in Vienna, the Lilienberg estate in Tainach and the Dragonfly kindergarten run by Mirijam Orasch in Klagenfurt. The kindergarten has closed, while operations at the Lilienberg estate are continuing for now. Insolvency administrator Gernot Murko told ORF that the wine is being sold off and that the estate’s future should be decided within two to three weeks.

Orasch’s plans have not been fulfilled, ORF reported. Of the group’s 35 companies, nearly one-third are no longer owned by him. The Schaschl industrial family has taken over nine of them, including Hotel Moser-Verdino, the former Quellehaus at Heiligengeistplatz in Klagenfurt and several companies in Vienna.
