Gas leak at Salzburg station café leaves two injured

Two people were lightly injured after gas escaped at a café in Salzburg’s main railway station on Tuesday morning, ORF reported.

The gas is believed to have leaked at Café Johann on Südtirolerplatz. The Red Cross took both people to the state hospital.

The professional fire brigade responded to the incident. No other people are believed to have been inside the café, and the exact cause was not yet known.
