One killed in crash on Tyrol’s Inntal motorway

One person was killed in a head-on collision between a car and a lorry on the Inntal motorway near Silz in Tyrol’s Imst district early Tuesday, ORF reported.

The crash happened at about 3:15 a.m. in a roadworks zone, according to police. The person in the car died from severe injuries.

Police have not yet released further details about the victim’s identity or the exact circumstances of the crash.

A similar collision on the A12 Inntal motorway near Mötz on August 18 killed a 33-year-old woman and seriously injured another driver.
