Car hits stroller at Graz crossing, injuring two-year-old

A two-year-old boy was slightly injured when a car collided with his stroller in Graz on Monday morning, ORF reported. The child’s mother and the driver were unharmed.
The crash happened at about 7:45 a.m. on Vinzenz-Muchitsch-Straße. A 59-year-old man from the Graz-Umgebung district was driving south and turning right at the intersection with Kapellenstraße.
At the same time, a 34-year-old woman from Graz was crossing the pedestrian crossing with her child in the stroller. The driver noticed the woman and the stroller but apparently slipped off the brake pedal.
The collision threw the boy from the stroller. He was taken to the children’s clinic at LKH Graz for initial treatment.
