E-scooter crash leaves Villach man seriously injured

A 51-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after falling from an e-scooter in Villach on Sunday, ORF reported.

The man was riding without a helmet on the pedestrian and cycle path along Ossiacher Zeile, a road in Villach, towards the outskirts at about 10.30 a.m. He fell for reasons that remain unclear and was left unconscious with severe head injuries.

After receiving emergency treatment from a doctor, he was taken by rescue helicopter to Klagenfurt Hospital.
