Oktoberfest visitors hang upside down for five minutes

Several Oktoberfest visitors were left hanging upside down in an amusement ride for about five minutes, BR reported, citing the Aicher Ambulance medical service.

When medical staff arrived alongside police and firefighters, the people were already back on the ground and outside the ride.

Several teenagers reported mild dizziness and circulatory problems. After being examined and briefly assisted at the scene, everyone was able to return to the festival grounds independently, Aicher Ambulanz said.

According to media reports, the ride is an upside-down attraction that carries passengers in rotating gondolas to heights of up to 16 metres and at speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour.
