Police shoot suspect after Bad Vöslau knife attack

A man has died and a woman was seriously injured during a major police operation in Bad Vöslau in Baden district, ORF reported on Wednesday.

The operation followed a report of a dangerous threat. Initial information indicated that the man and his partner had argued, a police spokesman told ORF.

The man allegedly attacked the woman with a knife. A police officer shot the suspect, the Austria Press Agency reported.
