Burgenland audit office criticises state holding contracts

Burgenland’s State Audit Office has criticised the management contracts of the Landesholding Burgenland GmbH group, ORF reported.

The audit identified shortcomings in areas including the tendering of contracts and remuneration.

The Landesholding said it had already implemented many of the audit office’s recommendations. However, it said it held a different legal view on the tendering procedures.
