Firefighters contain building fire in Faschina

A building caught fire in Faschina in the Großes Walsertal valley on Sunday afternoon, ORF reported. Firefighters have extinguished the blaze, but it caused extensive property damage.

Crews prevented the flames from spreading to the neighbouring building, although its facade was slightly damaged.

According to the rescue and fire brigade control centre, one firefighter sustained minor injuries during the operation. The cause of the fire remains unclear.
