Teenager stabbed during fake watch sale in Vienna
A 14-year-old was stabbed in the back during a dispute over the sale of a counterfeit watch in Vienna’s Donaustadt district on Saturday evening, ORF reported. The teenager was not in life-threatening condition.
The sellers noticed at about 11.15 p.m. that the watch had apparently been paid for with counterfeit money and followed the two youths. One of them then stabbed the 14-year-old, according to the Vienna State Police Directorate.
The incident occurred near Wagramer Straße. An immediate search for the suspects was unsuccessful.
Vienna’s emergency medical service took the injured teenager to hospital. The Vienna State Criminal Police Office is investigating on suspicion of intentionally causing serious bodily harm.
