Search continues for missing 74-year-old in Carinthia

Police and firefighters resumed a search on Sunday for a 74-year-old man who disappeared during a hike near Frauenstein in St. Veit district, ORF reported. An initial search continued into the night but found no trace of him.
The man was walking with his wife in the Dreifaltigkeit district of the municipality of Frauenstein on Saturday evening when he suddenly disappeared. His wife alerted police.
The first search involved three police patrols, a dog unit, a helicopter, a drone and six volunteer fire departments. It was called off at about 11 p.m. and resumed on Sunday morning.
The missing man is about 1.70 to 1.75 metres tall and slim. He has grey-white hair and was wearing a grey jacket, black trousers and light blue shoes. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
