Coop recalls organic prawns after salmonella found

Coop has recalled its Naturaplan Organic Jumbo Prawns 120 g and Organic Cocktail Prawns 150 g after salmonella was detected, SRF reported. A health risk cannot be ruled out.

The Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office recommends that consumers do not eat the affected products.

Anyone who has eaten them and has concerns should consult a doctor. Coop has removed both products from sale and launched a recall.
