Motorcyclist seriously injured in St. Radegund crash

A 36 year old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in St. Radegund in the Graz Umgebung district on Wednesday, ORF reported. Police suspect he was travelling too fast.

The man was riding on Wetterturmstrasse in Rinnegg when he apparently left the road to the right on a slight left hand bend because of his speed. He crashed into an adjacent meadow.

He suffered serious injuries to one leg and his shoulder. After receiving initial treatment, he was flown by rescue helicopter to LKH Graz hospital.
