Children’s music festival turns Linz park into galactic adventure

The children’s music festival Kinderklangwolke transformed Linz’s Danube Park into a galactic adventure, ORF reported. Children and families watched the stage show “Sun & Bun in Search of Happiness” and joined in with singing and activities.

The story followed the characters Sun and Bun across the galaxy as they searched for happiness. The show explored how happiness can mean different things to different people and how a change of perspective can sometimes help people recognise it.

Author Susanne Stemmer and musician Titus Vadon created the space adventure. The production featured specially composed music that actively involved the audience, with many children singing along and cheering for the characters on stage.

Space village in the park

From 2 p.m., children and families could visit interactive stations in a space village set up in Linz’s Danube Park. ESERO Austria, the European Space Agency’s education programme, was responsible for the activities.

The interactive course complemented the stage show with activities focused on space and astronomy, allowing visitors to explore space travel through play.

Kinderklangwolke has been an established family event in Linz’s cultural programme for years. This year’s event again combined music, movement and shared experiences outdoors.
