Three injured in motorcycle convoy crash in Klagenfurt

Three motorcyclists were injured in a collision within a motorcycle group from Styria in Klagenfurt on Saturday, ORF reported. The crash happened after one rider braked for traffic reasons.

At about 10:45 a.m., a 54-year-old man from Styria stopped his motorcycle, with his 54-year-old wife riding as a passenger. A 42-year-old and a 66-year-old rider apparently failed to notice the stop, causing a collision.

All three motorcyclists fell, police said. After receiving initial treatment from an emergency doctor, they were taken by the C11 emergency medical helicopter and ambulance services to Klagenfurt Accident Hospital and Klagenfurt Clinic.
