Inform fair opens in Oberwart with more than 250 exhibitors

More than 250 exhibitors are taking part in the 55th Inform trade fair, which opened in Oberwart on Wednesday and runs through September 6, ORF reports. The event combines business and entertainment under the motto “Five days, thousands of stories.”

This year’s main focus is again on building and renovation. Visitors planning to build homes are looking for trade-fair offers, while exhibitors see the event as an opportunity to attract new customers and establish contacts.

Many exhibitors represent the sectors of doors, windows, shading systems, heating systems and alarm systems.

“The Inform Oberwart has been a fixture in Burgenland’s events calendar for decades. Its diverse range and new, innovative ideas make the fair a special experience every year,” SPÖ provincial councillor Daniela Winkler said at the opening.

Family entertainment is also a traditional part of the fair. The amusement park on the outdoor grounds has been open since August 28, while the exhibition halls offer family activities across about 600 square metres.

The artist collective The Pannonians is also taking part this year. It combines different art forms with digital technologies to create a new approach to art.
