Two 19-year-olds injured in Carinthia car rollover

Two 19-year-old women were injured when a car overturned on the B317 near Kappel am Krappfeld on Tuesday evening, ORF reported. Both were taken to Friesach Hospital with injuries of unspecified severity.

At about 8 p.m., the driver, who was from St Veit an der Glan, left the road to the right for an unknown reason and hit a guardrail. The car then overturned and came to rest on its roof about 130 metres further on.

The driver and her passenger were able to leave the vehicle unaided. After receiving initial treatment from an emergency doctor, they were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Fire brigades from Althofen, Passering and Kappel am Krappfeld attended with six vehicles and about 50 personnel.
