Rear-end crash injures two children and two adults

Four people, including two children, were injured in a rear-end crash on the Mölltalstraße on Monday, ORF reported. The road was closed for about an hour after the accident.

At around 11.25 a.m., a 38-year-old woman was driving from Lainach towards Obervellach with her two children in the car. She stopped in Rangersdorf to turn left, and a 24-year-old driver also stopped behind her.

A 23-year-old driver then crashed into the stationary vehicles for reasons that were not immediately clear.

The 38-year-old woman, her two children and the 24-year-old driver suffered injuries of unspecified severity. Emergency services provided initial medical care before taking them to Lienz Hospital.

Traffic was diverted during the road closure.
