Fox found lounging on couch in Austrian home

A fox entered a house in Sulz im Wienerwald in the Mödling district and settled on a couch, ORF reported. The animal was removed by firefighters and later released.

According to the Sulz fire brigade, the fox probably got inside through an open terrace door. When firefighters arrived, police had already secured the animal in a cage.

The firefighters moved it from the cage into a cat carrier for transport. A hunter examined the fox and found no impairment before releasing it back into the wild.
