Jewelry stolen in break-in at Salzburg jeweler

A jeweler in the city of Salzburg was broken into during the night into Monday, ORF reported. Police said the perpetrator or perpetrators smashed a window at the shop on St. Julien Street and entered the premises.

Jewelry was stolen from a display case. Police are still investigating exactly what was taken and how much the haul was worth. The suspects remain at large.

Officers were alerted by a passerby who noticed the broken window.
