Masked robber targets two petrol station shops in Switzerland and Liechtenstein

A masked man robbed petrol station shops in Haag, Switzerland, and Bendern, Liechtenstein, within minutes of each other on Saturday evening, ORF reported. Police suspect the same man carried out both robberies.

At about 8.30 p.m., the man entered the shop at the Haag-Center, went directly to the checkout and threatened an employee with a knife before demanding cash. He left the scene on an electric scooter in the direction of the motorway. A search was unsuccessful, and no one was injured.

Almost identically, the man entered the petrol station shop in Bendern at about 8.48 p.m., demanded cash and fled west.

Police are looking for a slim man about 160 to 175 centimetres tall with dark eyes. During the robberies, he wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black trousers and white shoes. He covered his face with a black baseball cap and a pink cloth or similar item and fled on a black electric scooter.
