Firefighters tackle apartment blaze in Neufeld am See

An apartment was fully ablaze at a residential complex in Neufeld am See in the Eisenstadt-Umgebung district on Saturday morning, ORF Burgenland reported. No one was injured.

When the first emergency crews arrived, smoke was already pouring from the windows. The owner’s daughter was alone in the apartment at the time.

Firefighters immediately began extinguishing the blaze and evacuated residents from neighbouring apartments. Fire crews from Neufeld and Rust attended, using a drone. Police and emergency medical services were also at the scene.
