Fire destroys caravan at Lake Keutschach campground

A caravan caught fire at a campground in Dobein on Lake Keutschach on Wednesday morning, ORF reported. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to nearby caravans and tents.

The Keutschach and Reifnitz fire brigades were called to the campground shortly before 9 a.m. A large column of smoke was already visible as they approached. The caravan was fully ablaze when they arrived.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus immediately began extinguishing the fire. Mopping-up operations continued until late morning.
