Hybrid car burns at Bad Sauerbrunn sports field

A hybrid car caught fire for an unknown reason at a sports field car park in Bad Sauerbrunn in the Mattersburg district on Friday evening, ORF reported. Firefighters remained at the scene for several hours.

When the fire brigade arrived, the vehicle was already fully ablaze. At around 9.45pm, firefighters were still monitoring the burned-out car to prevent a renewed fire.

A transport company later towed away the wreck.
