Pedestrian flees after leaving 82-year-old injured in e-bike crash

Police are seeking witnesses to a serious e-bike crash in Salzburg last Saturday after a pedestrian allegedly caused the accident and fled, ORF reported.
The 82-year-old Salzburg resident was riding along Fürbergstraße in the Parsch district. Outside house number 18, an unidentified man crossed a zebra crossing against a red light, prompting the cyclist to brake abruptly and fall.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries. The pedestrian left him lying on the ground and fled, according to police.
Witnesses are asked to contact the traffic inspectorate.
